People always say the famous cliché, "new year, new me," from about this time of year until the upcoming new year.

My motto from now until the beginning of the new year will be "new year, no me."

Celebrating New Year is a waste of time. It is supposed to be a time of happiness and were everyone starts over, but that never actually happens. Instead it is just a day/evening were adults get drunk before going back to normal life and start being mean to each other again - nothing and nobody changes.
