France does have some crazy high taxes especially for wealthy people. But there are ways around paying the higher taxes, they also aren't super good about enforcement.

France does have some crazy high taxes especially for wealthy people. But there are ways around paying the higher taxes, they also aren't super good about enforcement.

I didn't know for Italy. French governments are incredibly mediocre since 50 years. I'm okay to pay taxes if the money is well used, but they waste it and we don't have a good health system anymore. Every year, around 300 farmers commit suicide, and now kids commit suicide too. We are also close to bankruptcy because of our debt, maybe the next Greece. And no democracy anymore. If you look at alternative medias, you will be very surprised by what really happens in this country.

It's April in the UK. The 6th to the following 5th each year- usually- for accounting purposes anyway.

But, it's tax return time for a lot of us. . I did mine recently. Kind of funny. They get you to login at the start- obviously but then- also confirm login details at the end, when we submit it.

I was kind of perplexed- why? Maybe if we're on a public computer or a shared computer at home. But really- do they really think some other person is going to take over filing someone else's tax return for shits and giggles? Yeah- their turnover was three billion this year. That or we get murdered half way through and the murderer sticks around to fill in the rest of it?
