The Dutch government approves plans to allow euthanasia for some terminally ill children.

Yes, it is even though they are under 12 they still shouldn't suffer physically. Also there is talk in Ireland of a euthanasia bill being introduced.

Yes, nobody deserves to die slowly and painfully regardless of age.

I hope it opens the discussion towards recognizing that anyone should have the right to end their life in dignity. It has always baffled me how it's seen as unethical to not euthanize an animal that's suffering, yet we forbid humans from following that route.
