Thanks for the info. 88% of the patients died in an hour or less. That's a great track record.

If I can ever find a way to get N from A I want to order 20g. Wonder if that would be better since I'm a big guy. I want to go as quickly as possible.

I've ordered two bottles from N. I hope that's enough for a quick death. Nevertheless, I'll allow plenty of time before the discovery of my body is inevitable.

For anyone that may have access to Exit forums or some other source, I wonder if there is info on time till death where there may have been other people present in those cases? Speaking of those who also went down the same route to aquire it and would be using the same ratio/amount.
I know in this case there may often be other factors, age/illnesses etc but just a thought as I have no idea what info may be on those forums or elsewhere

I'm not sure if I put this somewhere else.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3968666/

'Pentobarbital is a drug used in veterinary medicine for anaesthesia and euthanasia. Acute poisoning can be fatal due to cardiogenic shock, and respiratory arrest secondary to its potent action on the respiratory centre. The lethal dose for pentobarbital when ingested ranges from 2 to 10 g.[1] A case report of non-fatal pentobarbital overdose of 13 g is described.'

Barbiturates were almost outlawed becuse of their lethality in overdose. I'm not so sure death is guaranteed.

https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/article-abstract/347577 doesn't seem like fun either.

What is your alternative? I think you'll have a very hard time finding anything equally lethal and peaceful that is as relatively easily attainable. After all, there's a reason why it's the preferred method in virtually every single country where euthanasia is available.

Considering how length his recovery was, I think it's safe to say that he probably would have died had he not received medical attention when he did.

I also don't get how you derive that its lethality is uncertain because it is outlawed precisely due to its lethality. That logic doesn't make sense to me.

@OfficerK ,

That the barbs would often kill people doesn't mean it always will or would ! I'm sure people did survive high doses of barbs.

I agree @Arak you seem to be hyper-focussing on the negatives. But tell me which method has a higher success rate? You are searching for something that does not exist. NO method has 100% success rate. Providing 1 example of 1 person who was interrupted and 'saved' is not proof that this is not the most lethal method, provided you follow the instructions for dose and time needed to be undisturbed.

I'm not saying that it is or isn't, because who knows. But people with far more knowledge and experience that me, seem to think this is the most reliable, lethal method overall and I trust their opinions because they have no reason to suggest otherwise. All in the right to die movement are advocating for the same thing, at great personal risk to themselves.

But you're right, Nothing is 100%.

Myself in #1:

If the onset of action is at least 10 minutes, how come 32 % die so fast ?
Preparation/no tolerance may be an issue, state of health as well. 15 minutes to death is very fast. Sample group needs to be taken into account.
