Nembutal isn't Nembutal

Why does everyone here call it Nembutal? According to Wikipedia, it's actually Pentobarbital or something, and Nembutal was just a brand name and that brand of pentobarbital doesn't even exist anymore.

The capsule form of Numbutal was discontinued in 1999, but I don't think the other forms have been discontinued (I don't know for sure)

I guess many people refer to most drugs by their brand names, rather than the correct pharmacological names of the substance, be it Nembutal, Xanax or Tylenol.

Pentobarbitone, Nembutal, Dolethal, Euthasal, Euthalal, Lethobarb, Pentoject are all names for pentobarbital. It's just easier to refer to it as N so confusion is lessened ♡ I would use N if it was available to me. Those that have acquired it are lucky. If only we could all find that peace.

I've read that Suicide tourism in Mexico is a thing. That's where you can get seconal/pentobarbital. I can't afford to travel and if i did, my husband would get suspicious. I'm wondering if this can be sent by mail order.

If you find the most recent (Jan 6 2021) PPH handbook, it should have valid contact info for source of N who does mail order, I think from MX.

It's not that easy anymore to get N in Mexico even in veterinary form anymore, the last few years the government has introduced new requirements to control "controlled" drugs and N is definitely not sold in a regular drug store, I think vet N also needs a permit now. So only through black market or paying a corrupt doctor that works for the government hospitals would be a way of getting it personally in Mexico. Or paying a vet that is willing to take the risk. Even antibiotics are now controlled and require a prescription.
