• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Hello, Sorry I don't know anything about NDEs

I discovered on youtube people who had negative NDEs...they say it's 10,000 times worse than the worst suffering on earth... It's terrifying and an infinite inhuman suffering with visions of horror etc...they were traumatized by this experience...and yet people who had done nothing wrong in their lives.

When we die, is it that we are either in heaven (described as an incredible sensation by positive NDEs) or we are condemned to billions of years in this state of suffering....

or are both states just temporary and passing because they were NDEs and not definitive deaths...

It really disturbed me Thanks in advance

How many have positive NDEs compared to negative overall? Do you know?

Also, NDEs are heavily influenced by a person's religious belief. Christians experience heaven/hell, Hindus see Hindu gods, atheists often experience blackness, etc.

It is the deepest part of your brain trying to process the fact that it is actively dying and has nothing to do with "eternity".

Keep in mind it is "near death" and not actual death. I think I see NDEs as not much different to dreams. I think it's just the brain going overdrive and producing a bunch of nonsense but maybe i'm wrong. I think NDEs may just be another tool for naive religious propaganda.

Once they can get you scared of these 'bad NDEs' they'll probably try and convert you to their religion or tell you to buy their grifty NDE book or whatever.

If NDEs are real, a good way to bypass it I theorise is like instant brain death. Like a shotgun to the head. This would give no time for the brain's consciousness to conjure up nonsense. People who do opioid ODs also report just going into a black void i don't think they have NDEs whatsoever.

Is consciousness independent of the brain? I don't think so.

Is there any way to validate these experiences are genuine? No, we're only going off of anecdote which is prone to distortion from the ego and naivety.

My personal take on death:
Die with a light heart, resolve all regrets and desires, exhaust those desires and leave with a peaceful mind that's undisturbed. To die with no physical or mental struggle is the best death there is imo.

It's not a death experience. You cannot come back from brain death - physically impossible - hence you know, being dead.

Those that had a near death experience were still alive!

Brain death = lights out completely.
A heart stopping or something like that you can be resuscitated, and have a chance of survival.

Why do you think those that are on machines, and are brain dead (no brain activity or very limited) are switched off? Because they are dead. Machines are keeping them alive, nothing else

Please always keep that in mind when you're looking at near death experiences. They are alive still, not dead. I've repeated myself here, for good reason though

I never believe near death experiences for reasons states above. Think about this logically

That isn't to say there isn't something that continues after we pass

Are you sure? From what I've heard, there haven't been found to be any direct correlations between NDEs and prior religious beliefs.

Most negative nde I would say are propaganda by religious fundamentalists or extreme rarities. The human brain, according to some studies at least (I haven't really checked how well researched or corresponded this is scientifically so take with a grain of salt) tries to calm you before dying. Which is kinda sweet if true, for all the trouble we go through, the brain tries to make the end just a little nicer for you. Makes one wonder when we are having a good time, is it the brain replaying the memories or are we here for real?

I have seen a few studies. I'll see if I can find them again when I am more functional than I am now.

I will say, the association is not a strict one. It is not like Christians ONLY see heaven/hell, etc.

after i died, some religious people told me i had an nde, so now i give them money every month, converted to their religion, and believe in all their mutually exclusive made up bullshit rules, none of which i ever break

i felt like it helped me see the truth and that joining their cult helped me to see wisdom. their most important value is to always tell the truth, which i am doing always including in this very post

Thanks if you can

I have a few fellow brain injury friends who had ndes . Ones heart stopped for a few minutes and the other not sure how but they both said it was a place of pure love. One said he had a life review and could see and feel how he effected people positively and negatively not in a judgemental way and was told the typical its not your time you have to go back and help people the other one believes she came back for her husband. Interesting stuff
