I'm planning on CTB using Stan's guide to SN. After looking on Amazon, I found this SN as pink curing salt. I would buy two so I can have a backup drink as well. Would this be the right kind? Would it work the same as normal SN?

6.25% Sodium Nitrite is nowhere near the purity you would need to ctb. You'd need a purity of at least 95%. Amazon does not carry that kind of Sodium Nitrite. You have to look for other providers, often chemical sales companies. I did a search for "purchase Sodium Nitrite" and that is how I found mine. Others here may be willing to share a source with you however they are limited at present for a variety of reasons. Best of luck!
