Partial hanging seems too easy. I passed out in about 5 to 7 seconds. My cheap tie broke on me though and I came to when I hit the closet floor. I cant remember thrashing about, maybe it was just my weight.

That was a week ago. Anyone else feel
a little brain damaged after failed attempt?

When I attempted it before when I was severely uninformed I had a really bad headache and my head felt like it was going to explode. This was 2 or 3 years ago. I haven't tried since. I'm a bit shocked you did it with much ease. Most people relent on how difficult it is especially the part where you have to compress the carotid artery.

I did read up on it first here. Placing the tie under the adams apple, hand tightening the noose as tight as possible, then leaning forward and letting my body weight tighten even more did the trick.

You asked if anyone else feels brain damaged. Are you feeling different after that? Or were you just curious if others had that happen?

It sounds like you compressed the carotid arteries really easily. Many people only compress the jugular veins.

Are you planning to make a true attempt any time soon? Please be positive you want to die. Practicing with a rope, belt, or even necktie secured to the structure is very risky. That's why you want to hold it with your hand somehow in such a way that if you pass out, you'll lose your grip. I do this in my basement. The ceiling beam is what I throw the rope over. I held it in my hand in case I passed out or triggered the vagus nerve response.

Please be absolutely sure that you want to die. Have you tried talking to anyone...Family,friends,or therapist?

Be very careful. If you ever attempt this and are "saved" ,you could become quadriplegic. Unless your family or power of attorney does you mercy, you could live paralyzed in HELL just like the guy in the UK. You want to have an hour from when you pass out to be extra safe(worse case 30 min). It should only take 8-15 min for the brain to die if you block the arteries correctly. But weird things happen.

I don't want you to die. But I also don't want you to suffer.

I wish you luck. I'm here if you need to talk at all.

vagus nerve response?

Yes I feel different. Maybe I did some damage on my test run. Feel Like closing my right eye all
The time lol.

Why is it so hard to ctb? Without a gun anyway. Maybe because we all want it to be painless? It takes so much planning. I just want to lie down to sleep and never get up.

i admire how easy it is for you to pass out. for the life of me i cant get it to work. i feel blood rush up my brain. tried different positions of the noose around my neck but nothing works. maybe in the back of mind im not ready yet. i dunno

I felt pain too until I read up on it. Move the noose down lower on the neck, press str8 down. When you do it right there is no pain, you just pass out with a quickness.

I dont have the energy to order sn and try to hide it. All i can do is sleep.
