Name some advantages you get from growing older. Like why is it worth to wait with suicide and try to hope that the situation might improve.
I think this is a difficult question for me. Obviously minors should not commit suicide. The brain is not fully developed and things can change. I think for many people the life as an adult is completely different to the time at school for example. My life has hugely changed. I am glad I escaped all my bullies though they left huge scars. Maybe I am not the best positive example but I think statistically for many people life can change fundamentally after adolescence. For the positive.
Now it is more difficult for me. I am in my mid-twenties what could improve in the next decades? This is really a hard question for me because I am quite scared about some developments but I will try it.
People say to me they have learned to care less about what other people think of them. I think this could ease some of my pain. I am so obsessed. Some people in my bipolar group have learned how to cope with their illness after some tough time. Many found the right medication after several attempts. It is also true for me. When I was younger I rebeled against medication it was such a wise decision to change my mind on that. My life quality has improved a lot since then. A life without medication with my illness is hellish. I tried it. I tried it for a long time. It was torture. I can live with the side effects. I am still quite annoyed but I have learned to accept them. I quitted the medication with the worst side effects 3 months ago and I am still somewhat stable.
I think the future life quality on earth in general will improve. The internet is for example for me extremely awesome. I am somewhat scared about some developments concerning it but the technology has helped me tremendously. I can't imagine my life consuming TV all the time instead. It would dull my mind completely. I think new technologies and maybe new therapies could improve our lives. Though I am scared they will be too expensive for me.
What are your ideas?
