I apologize if this should be in the megathread; I can't seem to find it.

I'm going over methods of payment. I'd like to use cryptocurrency, but I cannot for the life of me figure out what I need to do. Do I need to buy the currency with a prepaid debit card first? And then, isn't it possible that due to fluctuations I will end up with less money than I put in within minutes? And there are so many options. I don't know which one to pick. I can't really ask friends because then they start getting nosy.

Has anyone used this? Or stuck with Western Union/Moneygram? If these, any concerns there? Any hitches? Feel free to PM if preferred. Thank you.

Use coinbase. Link your bank account. Then deposit money into the USD wallet and buy btc when the funds settle.

Linking my bank account isn't risky? Also, you recommend bitcoin specifically as opposed to another currency?

He only takes btc I believe. And it's fine to link your bank account to buy btc. It's used by millions of people this way

That is why I'd suggest not changing the color at all, since the default text color changes depending on the theme you have, while manually changed ones do not. :)

I'm totally confused by this. I have a light grey background and black text and didn't even know that could be changed.

There are themes you can choose from that change the colors.
If you use the standard text color, the color will be black on the white theme, and white on the black theme. If you however manually set your color to black, it will be black on the black theme as well.

I just used western union and it seems really simple. Just link your card and input the address
