Tbh, meclizine (an otc anti-emetic) on its own makes my stomach not feel great. Taking 4 otc painkillers (for 3 pills of meclizine) helps a lot but you can still vaguely notice the stomach discomfort even then (it's not exactly painful when you notice it, it's just a little uncomfortable)

Anyway I just thought this would be important if you took SN, like any stomach discomfort you may feel may also possibly just be due to meclizine (in addition to however bad or however manageable/peaceful the SN stomach pain may be)

For reference, a few years ago after I got sent to a psych ward for 2 weeks for getting caught leaving my house with a rifle to try to shoot myself somewhere, I was put on an antidepressant in the hospital. As the dosage increased, I started to get pretty bad nausea and stomach pains (after I got acclimated to the antidepressant after a few weeks, I never really felt stomach pain again as most of you probably now--although antidepressants on an empty stomach definitely make you queasy, similar to other pills)--

Anyway, when I told the one doctor about my nausea she gave me an anti-nausea pill which totally made all the discomfort and pain go away as well as the urge to throw up (tbh it felt great)

I remember thinking as I took it that all the common unpleasant stomach viruses and other vomiting "bugs" I got as a kid (and observed everyone else getting-- I'm talking about the usual stomach bugs that almost everybody seems to get once in a while), were pretty much unnecessary because we could have just taken an anti-nausea pill and not had that intense and unpleasant stomach pain (I'm not a doctor, maybe if you consistently don't throw up with a minor stomach bug it turns into some horrible disease, so there's a legitimate reason they don't just hand high-quality anti-nausea pills out, but I also don't really know--I'm sure it's possible they restrict the very pleasant anti-nausea pills for a mixture of reasons)

Anyway, the point of that very long aside is that I know from firsthand experience that there are anti-nausea pills that make your stomach instantly feel better (unfortunately, my doctor never told me the name of the pill so I have no idea if it was meto or not)

I'm also not entirely sure where the line is drawn between anti-nausea medication and anti-emetic medication, if that line exists

Meto (for me personally), seems like too much risk to get since I live with my parents and I also don't feel comfortable or confident with the whole process of trying to get a prescription from a doctor (in-person or online)-- but also because I don't even know for sure if that anti-nausea pill I took was even Meto (the doctor was fairly tight-lipped about that, not that I asked very much)

And I think the weeks-long process of getting Meto just seems to be too much for me, particularly when you weigh in the effort and money and the semi-fraudulently getting a prescription (not that I think it's fair at all you have to do that)

I'm probably giving away too much sensitive info but I also want to help people who are in pain to not suffer more

Especially since I'm in pretty much the same predicament
