Im not sure what to do with my cat. I just got him this month cause a friend needed to re-home him. She said she was worried she wouldnt get to see him again, so Id feel bad sending him away to someone else. But I also cant just tell her to take the cat back. And if I say "hey, you should probably make some back up plans for the cat just incase, since Im gonna be killing myself this month" she might try to interfere. But if I dont say anything then who knows when the cat will be found. I could put out a bunch of food so that he wont starve (hes a kitten so he doesnt eat much), but who knows when hes gonna be found. He probably wouldnt be found until either the rental company comes to come to kick me out (explain in a bit), or pest control or maintainence comes by. But I also dont wanna lose him when the suicide doesnt work considering Im a massive fuck up and Ill inevitably fail, especially since I currently cant buy antiemetics for SN since I dont know what to buy, so making plans for him to leave before hand would screw me over once I fail. And I feel so guilty about even taking him in when my life is so unstable, but thats just even more proof that I should kill myself.
I suppose it may have been a mistake to take on the cat, but life happens....
I suppose there could be a couple of options :
eg :
1)
Explain to your friend that you're not going to be able to keep the cat.
You could just say that you've had a rethink, and decided it's not a responsibility you wish to have at the moment.
Don't be bullied into having to explain any more than that, just stick to that explanation.
You could either offer to rehome him, and give her the info, etc, or ask her to take it back and rehome it herself, etc.
2)
If/when you CTB, leave some food out, and setup delayed emails to various people (including your friend), who could hopefully help rehome the cat.
Leave a note for the police saying who to contact to assist with rehoming the cat.
Personally, if you're certain you're going to CTB, then I think option 1) is better, but anyhow, I suppose you will have to decide....

I would, and thats why I got him in the first place, but I just cant handle life anymore. My rental company actively tries to screw over its tenants and steal from them, Im isolated nearly 24/7, I have multiple incurable mental illnesses, barely any friends, havent dated anyone in a long time either, cant have best friends cuz they always turn out to be toxic, Im 100s of dollars in debt, just got another eviction notice today cuz my rental company is trying to screw me over (and if theyre expecting an unfair $100 late fee which means I wont be able to eat for the rest of the month), and I can barely leave my house without being harrassed (live half a block off hooker ave, and Ive been harassed, threatened, stalked, had Johns try to pick me up while Im currently bleeding and in need of medical attention), the company that was helping me before wont talk to me now even though I need info from them, my families a bit abusive, Im unable to work and I cant find another place to live cause of that so my choices. Like everything is just horrible. I have no purpose or direction or reason to be alive. A cat isnt enough to make it better :(
I dont understand the PPH post, theres no helpful info in it, just warnings?

I suppose another possible option could be to board your cat at a kennel for a few days when you plan on doing it and leave a note saying you did for your friend or someone. That way, if you fail, you can pick him up from the kennel or if you succeed, your friend or someone else can.
I don't recommend just leaving him with no arrangements. He's likely to just get dumped in a shelter because people don't care.

hi. please don't leave him alone. either tell your friend you can no longer take care of him or listen to k75 's suggestion because i can't bear to think what may happen to him if he's left alone to fend for himself or put in a shelter.
I got one of the links to work! Thank you! It even gave some brand names to work off of for the antacid and antiemetic, so thats helpful, and if I cant find them where I live then hopefully theres an equivalent at least.
The purity testing stresses me out though. If Im gonna be doing it this month like I would like to, then I probably wont have time to be ordering stuff online, and I live in a sketchy apartment so anything ordered would probably need to be sent to my families house, and I dont have an explain for them :/
I actually do have a slight cat allergy so its funny you mention that But I couldnt use that as an excuse. I already have my other cat at my Gparents (where I used to live) and the only reason he doesnt live with me now is cause hes an outdoor cat, so with my Gparents he has a nice old school suburban neighbour hood to run around in, whereas at my place, I live half a block off hooker ave where theres druggies, generally horrible people, horrible drivers (only time Ive been hit by a car was 7 blocks from here), and its just a dirty and unsafe place for him.
