I looked forward to being a 'wizard'.
It reminded me of the wizard in the old Hero Quest board game which was my favourite character when I was about 8 years old (anyone remember that?).

Oh well, just 4 more posts left after which I'll no longer be a wizard

You can customize your title and remain a Wizard forever! Then you'll be unlike any of the other Wizards here, you'll be a Super Wizard because your name color will be different!

Ahh it's ok, moving up the 'rank' system amuses me in a really childish way :D

It's actually a very good little feature of the site, along with how each one has an associated colour that your name changes to.

As it happens this is my 700th post.
Let's see what I change to now, and what colour...

Speaking of wizards, a fun fact has come in my mind.

There's a popular euphemism for committing suicide via jumping off a building in Polish. Person who does such a thing is called a 'wizard' or it is said that they 'did a wizard'. Story behind this term is quite interesting. In the late 90s there was a popular Polish raper under an alias 'Magik' (in eng. Wizard). He did intelligent yet sad and edgy rap. At the turn of the 20th and 21th century he has come down with severe depression, probably caused by his unexpected popularity. He decided to end his living via jumping off a building. He had a great impact on polish music and his death was a big shock. That's why this term is present in colloquial speech.

I enjoyed being a wizard too, it meant I got to have staff with a knobbly end. I feel sorry for the yellow people (and no that's not a racial slur), no one can see them. I don't even know what I am now. Just pink. What an odd colour to ascend to.

My color just changed too! I used to be red (my favorite color) but now I'm pink. I have a custom title, so I don't get to see the ranks usually, but I guess I'm "illuminated" now!
