So I have a really close friend that knows about my situation and that I have very strong suicidal thoughts and major depression. Because of this they try to cheer me up when I'm having a bad day, which I completely understand, but sometimes it feels like too much. For example, if I need time alone so I go to take a walk during a party, this friend of mine will beg me to come back to the party, even though I make it very clear that I just need some time alone. I don't know if this is okay to not want my friend to be as much of a friend, like, I understand their concern for me, but I feel like there is a difference between a caring friend and a considerate friend, idk if this makes any sense, or if I am just overthinking everything, idk

Well I think it's nice that they care about you, not everyone have people to yk look after them . But I understand feeling like them just being and we like to be left alone , so maybe just tell them . Idk I'm not so sure I don't have any "expertise" in this .
