I can't stand "normal" shows for some reason lol. Idk over the years watching them crank out shows with shitty acting and boring plots got old. Most likely if everyone else is enjoying a show, I probably won't lol

...but Boardwalk Empire won, like, 50 Emmys and it's premiere had one of the highest ratings on HBO. I always thought it was the very exact kind of a show everyone likes.

I don't really have a single favorite show, more like a top 3 that keeps shuffling around depending on how I'm feeling:

1) Community- Extremely quotable to me and has just the right amount of meta throughout most of the show making it a post post modern classic in my opinion.

2) Futurama- I just like futuristic stuff and the few emotional moments the show had still hit.

3) The Good Place- a recent addition for me, but I've since watched it four times all the way through. Perfect show to get me mildly thinking about heavy stuff like ethics and death while also being able to take comfort in other people struggling to be good while I'm knowingly evil.

Even more so than movies because characters and story lines are getting more time to build up and develop.
