[TW for child murder](sorry for any bad grammar)
So my father's friend just got out of prison. He was in there for accidental homicide, I personally am not typically one to judge and my parents told me that it was a car accident. He even came with us to family dinner but after this I was told that what happened wasn't a car accident and that he actually killed his 8 week old baby. I felt very conflicted after this because Yknow It was a baby and I kinda felt a little betrayed because i wasn't told of this before I met him. He is very nice and did his 23 years but I kinda feel awkward being near him. He is now living with his until he gets back on his feet and for some reason (probably my OCD) i'm kinda scared he could kill me and my parents this is only because I feel like prison changes you and I'm kinda scared of what he could do. Any advice ?
Also for anyone curious about how he killed his kid. The child had colic and wouldn't take his bottle and kept crying. So [we'll call him D] D kinda shook him but not like shaken baby syndrome instead he wasn't supporting the child's head and the child's head slammed against his knee and instantly stopped crying. D called the police and did cpr till the paramedics arrived and then he was taken to the station.
