The sad part is that he was totally serious. He wants nothing to do with me but called me after about 3 years because someone was trying to scam him and my name came up. I tried calling him the next week and left a text and voicemail but never heard back. That was over 4 months ago. It's nice to know I have his full support about taking my own life

I would say don't let him be your primary reason to ctb. You don't have to have anything to do with parents if you don't want to.
