On the one hand, I understand why he did it. He was physically disabled and unemployed. He had trouble finding friendships and relationships because of his facial defect (I'm sure everyone on this site knows how superficial this world can be). But on the other hand, I never actually wanted to imagine losing him.
From a logical standpoint, I think he made the right decision. I just didn't want him to go.

I admire your ability to think with logic and your ability to put yourself in his shoes. Not many people can do that.

Sorry for your loss, I know is hard to lose someone you hold dear no matter how much you try to prepare. You can take comfort knowing his suffering is gone.

Most of us understand. Even though I am not depressed very much these days I've dealt with it severely in the past. Only thing keeping my mind stable is medication.
