Since September I followed art classes every Thursday night.
My teacher was the best.

Never did someone look at my art like he did. He saw the beauty, the potential. He saw things I couldn't see.

The way he showed us the assignment.. the way he drew so effortlessly.
You'd look away for 1 second and he created a masterpiece.

And now he's gone.
They found him Tuesday.
It came as a huge shock.

There was so much more I wanted to learn from him.

He put on a mask. And for us there were no cracks to be found.

The pain he felt .. he was so good at hiding it.

But life goes on as if nothing happend.

My heart truly aches reading this. There are few bonds quite as profound as the one between an artist and the mentor who finally "sees" them. To have someone look at your work and uncover potential you didn't even know you possessed is a rare, life-altering gift.
I am so deeply sorry for this shattering loss
It sounds like he wasn't just teaching you how to draw; he was teaching you how to see. That effortless "masterpiece" you described—the one that appeared the moment you looked away wasn't just talent. It was his language.

I am so sorry you lost someone that you looked up to. Sometimes we just don't know what another person is carrying deep inside. May they rest in peace. 🕯️

I'm so sorry. Reality is cruel, and I think those who are most sensitive to beauty also feel the cruelty most keenly.

Thank you for your words.
You put it into words better than I could.
And I appreciate it very very much.

He really did. Art was like oxygen for him.
