Murica ruined my life. I don't even find jokes about it funny because of how much pain has been caused by this place's messed up ways. The profit before all medical system stole my future, and the "helping people is commie and wrong" mindset stole any chance to survive even with help. I have lived abroad and it was much better but I couldn't finalize immigration. I hate it here. I hate the values and hypocrisy and egos. No place is perfect of course, and there are worse places, but of the so called "first world" this is the worst and I wish I had been from any other modern nation but here. Too many people here are all for themselves. Even my family, who has seen what has happened to me, has decided that its my fault so they can feel superior and safer. They swallow the propaganda 100%. When people think "guns" are important and a right, but healthcare is an entitlement, you know they are backward.

Edit: I didn't see the part where you said you don't find jokes about it funny. I have lots of compassion for your position, but to be honest, it was derailing in this particular space, so I was trying to lighten the mood by lampooning your family's position because it's a humor thread.

Perhaps that was already predestined, but this is turning into a downer way faster than I anticipated it possibly could. I said in the OP it was cool to poke fun, this isn't fun.
