We officially moved in yesterday, brought over the last things and cleaned the apartment. I'm happy we have a house now, I have no friends so I'll probably be more lonely. I have to stay awake today bc the gas guy will be here from 7 30 to 12. It's getting harder And harder, got an energy water mix and it's helping a bit, the dishwasher guy might be here today and so will the Internet guy. I got up at 4 38 am today bc my hubby gets up at 4 50 and my body hates me, I wake up before my alarm every day. We are stressed bc my landlord is trying to sue us bc we broke lease so we gotta find someone to sublease, it's basically right next to the collage and summer is ending so it should be easy. I'm very tired and I can't sleep, I want the sleep. I'm crying about the length of time of the appointment today and how many people wanted to do things today. Also the dishwasher was supposed to come with the house, it didn't work so they took it out, my grandpa went around the house and like the handyman he is was looking at everything, he noticed that there's no plumbing or plug for the dishwasher, it was decoration. When my mom, Grandpa, and hubby couldn't find a cheap dishwasher I found one under 30 seconds cheaper than what they were finding.

It can be chaotic and tiring in the beginning, but soon enough these adjustments will be over and you will have greater peace of mind. I hope you like your new home and the surrounding area. Perhaps making friends will be easier if at some point you enroll in some activity that you like, in the area - for instance, yoga, some kind of sport, an art activity or a volunteering group.

From experience, I can say just be careful with whom you let into your circle. Watch for red flags, such as a person trying to get to know you too quickly or asking questions that a person you only met shouldn't be asking. A new home and area is a chance to build a new life, using past experience to avoid having to bear with idiots. :)

I hope it all works out for the best!
