Movie recommendations

I'm going to be spending most of the day trying to distract myself and I feel like watching some films.

I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for. I'm not looking for comedy or drama. If the film involves some themes of sci-fi or fantasy, then great. I'm not opposed to some gritty thriller either. I'm not really looking for a horror film, but it can involve horror elements. I'm just looking for something engaging.
