I like Bobcat Goldthwait's movies (as a director and/or writer), though I'll concede they're not for everyone. He has a penchant for exploring dark and uncomfortable subject matter. I get a sense he has a good heart and empathy for underdogs and misfits. I hope he directs more films before he retires.
