Motivation and Politics?

Because of everything going on in politics right now I have lost almost all motivation to keep going to school and work, everything seems so pointless if its just going to be roadblock after roadblock as a woman part of the lgbtq+ in America. I cant go outside without fearing for my safety or afraid of being ridiculed for expressing myself. I was wondering if anyone else has felt this way lately?

I feel this way too. Him getting elected makes me lose a lot of faith in humanity and scared for the future

I feel the same. I have plans to do more after work, but now this will overturn all my legal ID, my passport, etc, just because people hate LGBTQs. I lost motivation to do more than work.... and I'm now struggling to even care about work. I lost faith in America. ;/

I really don't see much issue here. Trump certainly isn't anti gay nor anti lesbian. He's just more into science/reality and thus doesn't believe in all the multiple gender insanity nor weird anti-science nonsense that pretends men can transform into women (or vice-cersa). Being pro-science and pro-biology can only be a good thing.

In top of all this, Trump is eliminating all the extremist discrimination of DEI. So under him the country should instantly be much fairer for everyone.
