what are your mornings like? anything you enjoy about them?
do you often remember dreams when you wake up?
what do you eat for breakfast?
i try so hard to remember my dreams, but its often a feeling of something slipping away as i try to grab on to it. same as when i manage to realize im dreaming, then promptly wake up! its like, my eyes are already partly open, even though i am still dreaming.
i loved having peaceful mornings to myself when i lived alone. if i manage to have my own place again, i will certainly try to start waking up at 0400 like i used to. it felt wonderfully productive just getting out of bed so early and eating something hearty and healthy (usually oatmeal).
i love morning walks listening to music. i once had a perfect nature walk when it was misty, and i somehow connected the atmosphere to when i used to go to elementary school in a foresty area. it was interesting, like the first time i felt that since i was attending the school.
i am glad i discovered that decaf coffee isnt always bad. i used to cherish the feeling of the first few hours of waking up, because i felt the least mentally ill, but anxiety would start after my coffee. i so loved the routine of bean grinding and french pressing. now, i can possibly re-start that at some point without worry of ruining my mood.
good lord, its also great to stay in that dreamlike state. i almost always feel "normal" when i am dreaming. nothing is wrong with me there.
mornings are so important, if theres stress right away it all goes to shit.
