We never lose
Because we could never win.
The mistake was thinking,
That there would be someone,
To belong to us.
We are as empty as
A disused container.
Holding only,
The pain of being unknown.
At all times
A single companion:
The outline of our own shadow.
This obsolete world
Has nothing to offer us;
Let old things die
Without regrets.
