I just finished reading Moonicide's documented ctb with SN along with some of her previous posts. I am new here so never got to speak with her but she seemed like such a beautiful soul. Ive always thought my way to go would be hanging or jumping but since reading all of your posts it seems like SN is the popular choice. I know i would be very scared to take it as i dont like pain and im scared of the dying process however her selfless post really made me feel better. I envy all who got the opportunity to speak to her :)

Often with younger member it is harder to find obituaries for them. Obituaries for younger ages are a lot less common than someone who is older.

There's no way of knowing for certain if anyone here is legit. I know people say, "But why would someone lie about something like that?" The burden of proof isn't on me to come up with such answers. Without actual proof, I remain skeptical, because it's the internet and an anonymous website, and people do fucked up things for a variety of reasons, they don't generally reveal their motives and master plans like villains in movies. The best I can hope for is that she was a legit kind person and it all went down as claimed.

The only two we can be relatively certain of are Callie and Shawn. Even then, the news isn't always legit either, and there are such things as crisis actors and staged events, so if I don't personally know the people, I reserve some doubt. Bullshit like that is one of the many reasons I'm rationally done with this world. Dystopia sucks.

Interesting how it's all perceived...Her thread and the documentation thread are the ones that made me start worrying about the peacefulness... and a ton of research tells me I'm going to suffer .. but it's bcuz i have serious stomach/gastric issues.

But I was witness (not visually) to one that seemed peaceful and not painful.

i feel It's truly individual. Everyone should judge for themself.

One was a public (now private) of a guy's memorial group on Facebook, and the other was through a confirmation on her mom's Facebook page. There are two other deaths in the past couple months that have been linked to people who fit their forum description and/or confirmed through a self-dox of linking a Spotify playlist.

I recall that Old God doxxed himself. As for others, you've been able to confirm to your own satisfaction, and I think that's all any of us can do if we don't personally have access to information. I respect that you feel satisfied with the confirmations you've gotten. I hope you'll respect my self-protective skepticism that demands I see proof for myself, and respect that I encourage others to do the same. Too many scams and narcissistic games in this world. It now takes a lot to earn my trust and to convince me, and if I'd had boundaries this strong decades ago, I wouldn't have been played or victimized nearly as often, if at all.

I've been leaning a lot on that too, and it isn't even associating myself with finding if these said-people were successful. I'm vulnerable to believing others to only have them shatter me. Over the past couple months I've tried to be really transparent on the forum of people spreading around bullshit (mostly internet related) or calling out skepticism in someone's posts. I relate a lot to what you just said and the way you had elegantly wrote it.

In response to Old God: he had doxxed himself prior to his CTB because of the film he produced. I still have it on my PC that i ripped using youtube-dl. I don't know how to feel about reuploading his short film. I confirmed his passing through Facebook. Someone had access to his account to make his page into a memorial. I'm thinking it was either his sister or his close lover that weren't dating. Both people in his life that were close to him.

Very few people I trust on this forum -- and I can't fully commit to trusting them either.

Not at all, infact you're right and a lot more research would have to be done on my part. But i guess seeing these 'reports' has allowed my resesrch into SN start off with a positive outlook x

A friend of mine used SN as his way out and told me his full name to find his obituary afterwards. I found it. As well as a video of his funeral.

As for Moonie, she was incredibly sweet. I think reading that thread really set me off.. I had only ever been in a call with someone before they took their SN. I just hope she didn't have much pain. She was a pleasure to speak with.

I also perused that thread. It was heart-breaking seeing her suicide note addressed to 'mommy'. She ctb before I joined this forum, but I can relate to her in that I too am prevented from a normal life by my mental illness.
