My first method of choice was overdose. That will not work for me. My new method is firearm. My date is in June. I'm going to quit job the week of date and stop taking medicine the month before. I want to leave letters to certain people so they know my reasons. I want to do it away from the house but I don't know what the best location would be. Should I even quit job? What's the best location? I do have a car. What about a hotel? Are letters necessary? Or do they cause more harm than good? I'm just so ready. I don't want to be here anymore. I can't continue like this. Thanks

I'd say deep in the woods as it can be quite beautiful, you have time to reflect alone, no one will disturb you and your body ends up being one with the earth.. in a sense.

A hotel is good choice for this method, i think. It does not require any specific accessories. A firearm and a locked room suffice. Shoot against a solid thick wall, if you want not kill other.

I'm scared someone would find me in a hotel. That's why I question it. And I don't want to hurt anyone else just myself.

What if it was a parking lot no one ever went to? I do understand though. I wouldn't want some kid finding my body and being traumatized for the rest of their life.

This actually sounds peaceful. I could go somewhere I wouldn't be disturbed. I would want someone to find me eventually though. So my family didn't worry. Or is it better they don't find me and think I'm alive somewhere?

My method is the same as yours. I'm planning on doing it in a hotel, as I do want my parents to know what happened to me. Of course, it is up to you but I would prefer my parents knowing what happened to me rather then having them worry indefinitely. It's tough to think about your family seeing you like that, but I thinks it's better than disappearing.
If it wasn't for them, my dream method would be to drive into the middle a desert with a shotgun.

They would worry for a long time.. so I personally would either write a note or something like that.

Don't quit your job, so if you fail to pull the trigger (which you shouldn't be ashamed of) you still have an income. Suddenly quitting your job may also alarm people around you.

Writing a note is not mandatory at all. If you think it will help your family with the grief, sure you should write one. Depends on you though, I'm not leaving a note as I can't bring myself to write one. Just too emotionally weak.

I don't think you should shoot yourself in a hotel room, as that will leave a horrible mess for the innocent hotel people. You mention you've got a car, maybe you could drive into the woods? If you're on the northern hemisphere it'll be a warm summer day, so it won't be cold.

I've tried overdosing multiple times. It's often not effective and very painful. With firearm it's just one and done.

Someone find your body always. It is reality. But it is better, when it is unknown person, i think. No one from family. A unknown dead man is not so big shock for a normal adult person. For family members is it more terrible. Or that´s my opinion.
