Method Metabolism and SN

When I get high on a good indica I get to thinking things and I was reading some things on Google when one of them revealed that with edibles you should begin to feel the effects in 20 minutes to full effects by 45. It takes me an hour to feel anything and then another half hour to get blisteringly high. It's it gonna take me over an hour to die when I ingest my sn? I know the meto is supposed to help it get to your small intestine, but yikes.

Not going to pretend to know the answer but just a few thoughts- I'm guessing edibles need to go through your digestive tract before being taken by the bloodstream up to mess with your brain? Again, I'm not really sure of the exact biological process but I believe SN is absorbed into the bloodstream from the small intestine and presumably immediately starts reducing the amount of oxygen the red blood cells can carry. (I'm sure someone will correct me if I have that wrong). I guess the speed at which that happens depends on how much SN you can get that far to be absorbed- hence the meto I suppose. Not sure how much the whole process depends on the speed of your metabolism but I guess it plays a part.

Also, has it always taken over an hour to feel the effects of edibles? Even the first time you tried? Could it be that you've built up a tolerance to the drug rather than that you have a slow metabolism?

I really appreciate your thought out and thoughtful reply. I guess, from what you're saying, is that I may just be nauseous and have my heart pounding for a longer time than others then? I've always had a slow metabolism. And I almost never ingest edibles. The few times I have it's taken over an hour to start feeling high.

Someone also said about using an IV but that hasn't been used before and I was thinking if someone with more info could give their opinion or share what they know. If we could get sn directly into the blood stream? It would be so quick I think?

That sounds wonderful. I read something somewhere on something other than an, like a street drug to IV. I think someone said it's really hard to get an IV done one handed. What do you think?

Yes it is and even with both hands you need have knowledge about it so I think it's hard.

Thank you. I'm just thinking it might take longer to get to my small intestine quickly bc of the slow metabolism. I'm thinking it may sit in my stomach for awhile. I really hope you're right.

I wish I could reassure you with an answer but I'm afraid I just don't know. I guess none of us really know how our bodies will react to things. One other thing I've thought of regarding the edibles is that I'm guessing you don't know their purity? Perhaps they are taking longer to work because they are cut with other stuff?

I do understand your concerns. I'm seriously considering SN but I don't have the best digestive tract either. Had problems with gallstones a few years back and never really been right since then. Even the fasting element to it troubles me a bit as I tend to feel pretty sick now when I don't eat. Still, I guess that's what the meto is for . Good luck whatever you decide to do.

And now my friends you know why I am still here learning; I damn well do NOT want to miss the bus again! I have lived too long anyhow. I imagine many people just get to the point that they have had enough of these struggles and hurts we call life. I'm tired of hurting.
