Made my first friend in years

I finally made a friend after years of isolation. The idea of somebody thinking about me when i'm not around makes me nervous and uncomfortable but going to work doesnt seem AS horrible knowing theyre going to be there. I almost look forward to it for once. We're bot really close and don't have a whole lot in common but it was really nice to have somebody ask if I wanted to be their friend like they didn't think I was horrible. Its insane how much not being completely isolated can change things I guess

I didnt even realise how much it sucked. Life is so much better when you feel like someone wants to be around you
