Hi,

Probably a less-than-optimal place to ask, but I'm looking to get lost for a while, and then to hang myself. I'm buying some supplies. Need to find a way to navigate, maybe gather clean drinking water, maybe procrastinate in some place, in the UK, and cement my already near-certain enthusiasm. This idea is clearly half-baked at best, so I was wondering: any suggestions? In SE UK, currently.

Thanks.

What do you mean by get lost for a while? Like, travel to another town, live freely for a bit and then ctb.. or literally get lost in nature somewhere then ctb?

Lattermost: get lost in semi-nature for a while; find a semi-secluded spot that's semi-accessible to drinking water and supermarket food. Somewhere I can hang myself without too much fuss. Like I said, pretty half-baked, but I'm ready to flesh it out.

Of course, a hotel might be most appropriate, but I'm just assessing options right now.

Going to a camping site seems most obvious place to me if you want to be around nature and amenities but I don't drive myself so it would be useless if someone suggested it to me, but a hotel works too.

I wish I drove and had the courage to go camping alone. I'd make sure my tent was up to spec, take a few charcoal bbqs with me and bring them in the tent to peacefully slip away. But as I said, I don't drive and I don't have the courage to get all the supplies, carry them and bring them to a camping site by myself.

Thanks, I didn't think of camping sites as an exact option, as thick as that might sound--but then, I guess that's just me to a tee. Guess I ought to do my research. Still, I'm up for hiking, which I'm trying to prepare for.

Thanks for the idea, and I wish you the very best of luck with improving your situation, if you can.
