I find the marks on her neck... very suspicious. And I don't like how they describe her death despite the obvious complications that happened.
As much as I hate the Daily Fail (and I do hate them, they're the lowest-of-the-low shitrag tabloid that isn't worth the paper it's printed on nor even to be used as emergency toilet paper; British journalism is absolute shite in itself, the Daily Fail is terrible even by their incredibly low standards), but a broken clock is right twice a day, and I really agree with one line of the article:
"Is there anyone, apart from members of The Last Resort, who think her death sounds 'peaceful, fast and dignified?'"
Personally, I wouldn't consider someone's knees contracting and pushing up against the glass of a pod, still alive minutes after they should be dead, while some guy she paid peers at her while telling everything to a guy who created the closest thing to a suicide booth via a video call, to be a peaceful, fast or dignified death. Even if she wasn't strangled (and I would really, really like to get to the bottom of why there were possible strangulation marks on her neck), things clearly went tits-up in some capacity and if people hadn't already lost faith in Exit (for being scummy, money-hungry gatekeepers) I hope this finally convinces them. This was an utter disaster regardless of how you feel about the right to die and assisted suicide.

My questions are why after a decade's worth of time, money and effort did they go all cheap (1) with non continuous video and (2) did not have a video camera (even a VHS) strapped around a tree limb about 10' high recording her saying goodbyes, getting in by herself, pushing the button herself and seeing and hearing TFR person calling law enforcement to report the death half a hour later.

Did they even do a trial run ("dry run") for practice before actually doing it? That nigh have caught the bad cell connection at that location.

I just hope it turns out things did work as planned and the Sarco is allowed by Swiss authorities.

Continuous film footage from two cameras (one internal to the Sarco and one external focused on the Sarco and the environment) and phone records show on Monday 23 September 2024 that:

• The woman entered the Sarco unaided @15.50.25
• The woman closed the lid of the Sarco unaided @ 15.54.05
• The woman pressed the internal activation button herself @ 15.54.45
• The police were contacted to report the death @ 16.30.00
• Police and forensic staff arrived at the scene @ 18.48.32
• The Sarco capsule was opened by forensics @ 19.22.25

There is continuous video footage of the Sarco from the time the woman entered the capsule until the time the police were called after her death.

There was NO interference or entry to the capsule.

Furthermore, the oxygen concentration was recorded and can be shown to have dropped sharply on activation and to have remained at lethal levels until well after the woman had died.

It is assumed that the prosecutor is in possession of the film footage and is aware of the factual circumstances surrounding the woman's death.

So no, the footage is not "continuous".

My bad then, I did not notice until now. They could have made it more obvious, but alas.
Well, one group who apparently has the footage says one thing, another group who also apparently has the footage says another. Both of them have their own motives for portraying it in a specific light (the newspaper, being mainstream media, is probably pro-life and would want it to look bad, whereas Exit would obviously want it to look good). Guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens, hopefully the Swiss authorities will talk about the footage in more detail.
