this is what I found online (for lithium toxicity)

"Overdose effects can occur at as low as 1.0 mmol/l in some people. The window between a therapeutic dose and an overdose or potential lethal dose can be quite narrow. Doses are typically between 900 mg and 1200 mg per day, but again, the level of the drug in the blood is monitored and a dose that maintains that level is used."

It seems like it also causes kidney failure, which is a really slow and painful way to die.

I found the same but it appears to be information on when you're on it long term... which I was but stopped and continued to collect the prescription. Don't care if it's painful....
THANKYOU for answering so quickly.
I can't find the information about taking it all in one go.
Have moved from family and friends so no chance of discovery. Hope you're ok my friend x

I would really hate for your last moments to be painful because everyone deserves a peaceful death. I'm not sure about the interaction, but if you have access to sedatives or benzodiazepines, they might help you sleep through some of it.

If you need to talk at all, I'm here.

I have benzos that I take anyway... Zopiclone too. Take that every night. Want to go like this month last year and without a goodbye thread this is having a go anyway.
I have just lost my mum which if you read my original messages since I joined is enough to say... enough is enough for someone like me. I have been writing my previously "planned and well written" goodbye on pc well thought out shit... again. But whilst messaging you I have written four pages of goodbyes and don't blame yourselves stuff.
Thabiyou for being there x
Just taken 6200 mg lithium, 600 mg Zopiclone. Thanks my friend, safe and peaceful and wish you the best

I've sent you a message, if you're still able to talk. I'm here if you need someone. I wish you peace; you don't deserve the pain this world has brought you.

I take lithium and an OD seems something unsure and painful. You'll be aware while you get poisoned. Not a good idea. I rather stick to a more popular method like SN or N.

Just to add to what people have said about it being slow and painful, a lithium overdose will also make you vomit profusely. I take lithium and must have in excess of 10,000mg stored up. I am at the end of my rope but even I would not consider ODing on it.

Are you having any bad side effects from the tablets?
Yes, pain everywhere imaginable and STILL vomiting

No, don't. Desperate again that's why I did it. Would rather die of organ failure is why I took it

Most people who pass away from a Lithium OD are long-term users who take too much on a daily basis over a long period of time.

As has been noted here, a large one-time OD will make you violently ill. Your body is likely to recognize the Li as poison and do everything it can to expel it.

It can quite literally destroy your kidneys as well. Kidney damage is a known possible side effect of Li, even at small doses.

If it helps, remember that Li is a salt. If you taste your tablets, they taste salty. Just like too much of any other salt, your body knows when it's too much.

Yes, I am aware of all those things. My kidneys have been damaged and this isn't the first time I have attempted. I will and am meticulously planning SN
