I was walking down the street with my dad after going to do some errands, we talked about random things to just keep the conversation going, but it urged to me without thinking to say something and I don't know why I said it, he didn't get it, but it was still sad.
The conversation ran from when we were walking past the place I got a resonance done when I was little to get my diagnosis and find out I had scoliosis.
Dad: so how is your bed with your back now, how do you feel it?
Me: it's okay, but there's a loose spring that hurts me now and then.
Dad: have you flipped the mattress?
Me: Yes. I flipped it a couple months ago, it's funny because, I sleep through the night on one spot, I sleep like a vampire.
Dad: Nah, you sleep more like a bat, sometimes I find you burrowing like one haha.
Me: Yeah? You might find me hanging like one too some time.
Dad: *laughs about mental image of me hanging upside down like a bat*
But that's just not what I meant…
