So I saw my cpn yesterday and we were discussing sh and sensory things (I'm autistic). She said that she thinks my ligaturing and attempts like that are a sensory thing or a sh thing.
I completely disagree. She said she has to take my word for it but thinks it is.
What she doesn't know or doesn't believe? Is when I have marks on my neck it's not a sh thing for me. Or a sensory thing. It's been me practicing partial suspension. Now I don't want her to worry or anything - but I do feel kinda - weird? - that it's seen that way. Because for me sh etc a completely different thing.
Not sure why I'm writing this. Just wanted to share with someone who might get it.
I don't want to get her to understand it's me attempting or practicing getting it right - obv as I don't want intervention - but I also hate how it's like that's you sh or sensory seeking. That bothers me (might be my autism)
