When people constantly talk about how terrible Mondays are, or the start to a work week, or that they're "so sorry" for you that you have to work on the weekends. How Fridays or week ends are precious and missed. When the majority of society uses drugs like coffee and alcohol just to cope with daily life. The very existence of vacations, vacation from your life! These are not very reassuring that life is worth living. It just proves that life is mostly shitty, with very short and temporary moments of happiness, and then you die a horrible painful death.

I agree. The vast majority of people are in denial over the fact life isn't worth living.

Brother I feel you, life is mostly shitty. You eat the cookie, have the orgasm, smoke the cigarette and then you're back to the grind.
Although having money and time can maybe ease this pain (at least to some extent).
Giving and receiving love and kindness can ease more - not just love of people but also of self and the planet.
More kindness and love and maybe less materialism might make our pointless blink of an eye existence somewhat less pointless (wait actually it's still pointless no matter what... Fuck me you're right life is a steaming pile of rancid shit... Time to drink till I can't see straight or stand up).
Love and respect my brother.

is life shitty for everyone though? Some people are happy with ground hog day, some people are content with the constant get up, eat, work, home, bathe, eat, sleep routine, with occasionally socialising.
Those people normally have not suffered trauma, so a daily routine being thrown, their night out being cancelled, wage not being enough, an extra bill, will send them in a spiral of not being able to cope. To them this is life changing, they think they can compare to us, when in reality their hell is nothing like we have gone through, But No I do not believe life is shitty for everyone, we have different levels,

I have no idea what I am talking about, hand me another rum

True words. Most people deny the absurdity of life, because they just do not want to face the consequences related with accepting it. They feel safe in their little shells of lies, afraid of asking why.

Life may be not shitty for everyone, but one must in some point of his life decide (or his nature decides for him) if he want to seek truth and see the life in its true light, with all the misery and absurdity, or he will concentrate on seeing only the good and lie to himself.

Well of course if you had endless money you don't have to worry about any of this. But when you have to live paycheck to paycheck like the majority of society, or have other responsibilities... it really sucks. Life just becomes something you want to escape.

Even money can't solve all problems. May help with living non shitty life but I am sure a lot of rich people still live shitty lifes

Yup if they have annoying family, or kids. Kids is one great big life ruiner. Money can't solve everyone's problems, but it can buy you some freedom, it's a lot better than worrying about your basic necessities. I'd say the majority of rich people are probably happy and "blessed". When that money is limited and comes with a reputation to worry about, then yeah it would suck, having to put on a straight face for their communities, having responsibilities like if they're an employer they have employees and lawsuits to worry about, a spouse that could take half of everything. But say if you're a single person, and you won the lottery, then that would be amazing. But no amount of money in the world is going to solve the cruelty of humanity, but if you have lot's of money for yourself, you can ignore it all, and escape. No amount of money in the world is going to ensure that you're not 85 years old with someone else wiping the shit off your ass, but if you have a shit ton of money, you can always visit Dignitas way before that happens, or source N in different ways, you could go to different countries to pick it up etc. Pay someone to shoot you, a hitman, or pay someone to shoot you up with lethal opiates and make sure you die. Maybe it's easier for me because I know how to talk to criminals - I spent half my life with them, so if I had a shit ton of money I could find these shady people to do these things for me, haha! Whichever way you look at it, having the privilege of a lot of money is always going to lead to a better outcome.

Robin Williams and Anthony Bourdain are not great examples, they both have reputations to uphold and families, they're both in the public eye, no amount of money in the world could have solved that. They both hung themselves so that just shows that they acted on pure impulse, they were in a lot of emotional pain, either a mental illness or something, maybe a fear of old age and losing himself for Robin, and Bourdain didn't seem to have a lot of money, reports show he had a little more than a million. In my terms, a lot of money is at least 10 million, all to yourself, no family to answer to, and no fame or publicity or moral police to answer to. Lol

You're right. Life is extremely shitty. They paint like this bullshit picture when your young and then you grow up and realize it's trash. Like the only person who can make it better is yourself. Money solves a lot of issues. I just try to have personal peace and stay away from people.

Yes, life is meaningless. Neither children, money, work or anything else can make life meaningful. I can say with absolute certainty that everyone now living will be dead in five hundred years time just as those who lived before us are now dead.
