If in this question you mean that we can choose what we come back as/the circumstances we reincarnate into, I think I would want to be a beloved house cat. How nice it would be, to be able to lounge around and mind your business and lay in the sun and play all day.

I'd select for a few personality traits too, if that's possible, mainly intelligence and sensitivity. Feeling like I don't have enough of those things has been a major source of stress in my life.

I'd want most other things to be similar to my life now, but with fresher eyes and a neural reset, except maybe not for being on a confusing nightmare planet with a dystopian government, and the painful isolation from others. If I could have a few close people or even just one that would be great.
