An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.
Honestly, when I think about it, roaming Earth as a spirit wouldn't be that far off from what I usually feel like, except like, better? lol
Like I wouldn't have to worry about sustaining myself, about money, how people perceive me... because I just wouldn't be perceived. Plus imagine going through walls and stuff, and in general going anywhere you'd like. Sure I wouldn't really be able to interact with anything, but right now I'm just stuck in my room anyways. And as a ghost I could probably float around and travel the world, see beautiful things, maybe flicker somebody's light occasionally to prank and freak them out. I feel like it wouldn't be too bad :)

I'd choose heaven I suppose. I'd rather be non existent than choose heaven since I view existence itself as the problem but, if I were forced to choose between the options that you presented, I'd choose heaven.
Even if this is true (which I don't think it is since the pain that a sentient being can experience is truly unimaginable and I bet that hell would be designed to maximise the pain that the sentient beings can experience), why would you want to choose hell over heaven over the premise that hell is less worse than life on earth? To be logically consistent, surely you'd want to choose heaven over hell due to how heaven is less worse than hell, right?

First of all, suicide cannot be the greatest sin that can be committed. Second, heaven and hell certainly do not exist, especially not in the form in which some religions present it.

Depends on my resources. I'd choose earth if I could drug myself as to forget my own awareness of myself and existence, that doesn't sound too bad. Heaven and hell are premised usually from what I see in pop culture as very individualised, as in you as a person go and experience whatever coming to you with your own values, personality etc. Yea no thanks, that's a big reason life is so painful, and if it isn't at first, it will.

but seriously this existence is akin to hell depending on your mental and physical health as well as finances. it's a really tricky place. Sometimes things seem just like heaven only to in reality not be or it's all lost in a flash. Very tricky realm this place called earth!

Ohh! That is terrible!! Why?? I think you should roam the Mother Earth with me and we can skip down to the river and watch the waterfalls after we pull pranks on all the humans who will come after us.

Fair point. He may not be any different in heaven but surely it at least has to be lesser of the two evils when comparing it to hell, no? Hell in religions seem like they have been designed with the purpose of maximising the pain that a sentient bring can go through. Yes, earth is hellish already but the extent that pain can go to is truly unimaginable and I know that I have a higher chance in heaven to not experience that type of pain rather than if I were to go to hell. Maybe I'd go through some pain in heaven but can it be worse than getting my ears filled with molten lava and my throat being pierced by a hot rod and for these features of mine to be regenerated so that I experience the pain again and again until infinity?? I'd rather take my chances in heaven than hell if I were forced to choose one but, at the end of the day, I'd rather be non existent
I would rather be a spirit than go to any of these afterlife realms as I don't know how bad either of these places will be. If God exists I don't trust him at all for making this hellish life so I don't want to go to heaven and hell has the possibility of being torture so I would rather stay here where I am already accustomed to this place. Would rather non-existence tho.

I'd imagine many of us want to see departed nearest and dearest. I do. I don't know how that 'works' but I'm sure personally there's some other power out there.
If i had a choice but i don't i would only want non-existence forever. non-existence forever is the ultimate bliss and what will happen after Death .
i guess i'm starting to think differently than most humans. when i see myself i see the same thing when i see a bug, a mouse , a lizard, an insect crawling on the sidewalk. what does it matter what the insect or mouse does or thinks? nothing.
a human is just a brain, cells , a machine, chemical reactions. What i a lizard desires has no impact on what happens after i die.

Ain't no way there an afterlife. But would love to fuck around forever in the shenanigans we've made though.
Spectator mode, haha. If it's fun in Minecraft... it'd be fun in real life, too!
But yeah. Unfortunately nothing fun like that, after life. The fun we have is the fun we have; it is, what it is. Maybe it's "more it" for that, but regardless--I think it's neat that we can experience good things.
I'm not entirely sure, maybe I'd go with heaven? I know heaven is living alongside giod and the angels, but what does that really mean?
Since I don't quite know what heaven is, and I don't want to be tortured in hell, I think I'd go with roaming the earth as a spirit. Roaming around and finding cool spots in nature and in urban areas would be cool, spectating people's lives would also be pretty awesome. Although I do have one question, would I have any spirit friends? I would rather not be alone.
I don't believe in heaven and hell but I think that in case those places exist, probably the majority of humanity would be on hell.
The existence of both places would require a metric that defines to which one you belong and a superior being/force that establish that metric (God, universe, etc.). And the difference across different times and cultures would make that every society makes something that that metric considers "bad".
For example, slavery has been abolished in the majority of countries of the current era, but also the number of people in prisons have been increasing.
¿What would happen if, to that metric, freedom is the most valuable thing? Would there be any difference between slavery and put someone in jail? A judge and a slaves owner would be considered the same (taking away the freedom of someone)
Maybe suicide is the maximum representation of the free will and you may be rewarded
Thats why I dont believe in those things and if they exist, I dont think the actuals things society defines as good/bad will be the things that define where you end.

He can send me to hell if he wants. I've suffered unimaginably because of my health. I've caused enough pain and suffering because of it for him to probably justify it.
