I have a really gross room. It's not terrible but to be honest, it's infested with mice and so areas of my room are kind of nasty, I sometimes feel guilty about it. It's moldy too.

I think one of the things I'll feel worst about when I die is leaving my parents to clean this fucked room. I'll try my best to do it myself before I die. I'll spend a day cleaning my room and cleaning my rats so that everything is sorted.

I feel so disgusting being in here, nobody is allowed in my room. It isn't even that bad, I don't have a 'depression room' or anything I just feel so embarassed.

cleaning my rats
Wait, are these pet rats or are they general rats in the vicinity?

The mold is a real problem. Never ever should anyone allow mold in their room. It really messes with your sleep and general health.

I've got actual rats haha. Had 3 but one passed. Two senior blond ladies left.

I've had mold in my room my whole life across two houses, unfortunately it's really common for 'cheap' British houses. Black mold too, I'm very rarely sick though so maybe I built some kinda crazy immune system. I sleep like shit though

If you still get to save some before D Day, there are services you can dial to clean your space. I'm not sure how much it is there in the UK. The fee is usually calculated by the size of the room you wish to get cleaned (in square meters). Some would charge hourly. Some other would charge by the amount of rooms you need cleaned.

I'm sorry that you got to live with that mold on the wall. I'm also surprised to hear that you have rats for pets. In here, people either kill them or eat them đź’€

I've had rats as pets my whole life, I used to work in a pet shop and learnt they're definitely… controversial, but generally considered a pretty sweet pet :)

I'd love to pay someone to clean, honestly it would be my preference but my mum would beat my ass if she saw someone random coming to clean my room when I could probably just do it myself. I probably will do it myself. My trip is on the 17th so I'll clean it on the 16th so it's as clean as possible for the 25th I guess.

Thank you man, how's your day treating you?

I think they're underrated as hell. Clean, farmed/bred mice are good companions too. Ron from Harry Potter has a rat for a pet, I think.

Ah, very well. I hope you got all you need to clean. Tools, good music, some sun from the windows or the city lights if your sleep schedule is as fucked as mine.

I'm doing so good (completely ignoring my Excel Pivot materials and just making a damn good lasagna for dinner). How's yours today?

I love mice. If I ever have another pet it'll be a trio of mice. And yes! Ron has a rat, I think it's called Scabbers and turns out to be a man in disguise later on lmao

Ohhhh my family loves lasagna. I went out for a couple hours today because it was really warm and sunny and because I was having a lot of anxiety yesterday so I wanted to 'walk it off'. I haven't been out just… for myself in a while so it was nice
