I know this is a subject that is heavily romanticized out there and I really don't mean to contribute to it, I just find myself crying reading that letter because I relate to it so much, especially the part where he said that he loves humans too deeply that it makes him too sad.
I always was very drawn to his figure from a very young age, and there was just something so heartbreakingly honest and beautiful about him that in some way makes me be in peace with my suicidal tendencies. Like - and again I don't mean to romanticize it - if a being that has been through that much amount of pain could still see the world in that beautiful way, it gives me hope somehow, because I haven't been through half of that shit, but it gives me hope in the sense that it is okay to love this existence deeply but still wanting to leave it.
