• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I know insomnia is a very common problem so I want to share some tips to sleep better that work for me:

- Exercise before bed. Tiredness makes you sleep better

- Sleeping with the TV or the lights on can cause you nightmares

- Listen to sad music to avoid sleep paralysis

- Try not to sleep on your stomach

- If you are having an anxiety attack, do not force yourself to sleep, do something else until you feel sleepy

- Go to the bathroom before bed to release endorphins

- Try not to eat anything just before sleeping, but you can drink something warm

- Before going to bed, grab an ice cube and pass it over your eyelids and around your eyes, you can do the same when you get up

- understand that the quality of sleep depends more on how you feel before bed than on how many hours you sleep

Exercising before bed is not a good idea, this is a common misconception. Working out raises your heartrate and stimlates your nervous system, causing you to release stress hormones. This leads to you feeling more alert and therefore having trouble falling asleep. Insomnia is sadly a serious problem that can often only be fought with medication, but it's kind of you to try and offer help to those who need it. All the best.
