i know its kind of selfish since you could be potentially scarring the driver for life. but if one was desperate, would jumping out in front of a large moving vehicle like a coach or lorry be a viable method? ive not really seen this asked here before but then again i dont spend too much time on the forums. i would imagine if it was a decent speed and you stepped in front of the wheel it would be a fast way to go, and not too hard to do?

also, failing that, and on a side note. would this bridge be high enough to cause death if fallen from? i dont think its high enough, but wanted to get a second opinion

thanks in advance

This has been asked and the answer is always the same: there is a much larger chance you live with debilitating injuries or the driver swerves to avoid you and you cause a crash.

To answer your second question, rule of thumb around here is you need to fall from a height of 150 feet or 46 meters onto concrete or 250 feet, 76 meters onto water for it to have a 99% chance of killing you. But falling is also hard to predict. People have survived the 280-foot fall from the Golden Gate Bridge, but people have died falling off a four-foot ladder at home.

From the overpass in your pics I'd say the fall itself would be unlikely to kill you. A perfectly timed impact with a truck might but could just as easily hard break and drag you along under it doing unspeakable damage leaving you maimed for life.

It's not just scarring the driver and other witnesses that's a concern, this method could cause a multiple car pileup due to sudden stops, swerves, evasive maneuvers and risks harming or killing others.

Do you guys have any tips or tricks to finding really high places locally I could use to jump from that would almost guarantee death? Because I have no idea how to look for such thing since I don't know of any off by heart
