Jumping or Firearm

Hello,

I have only two choices at this point.

Jumping or Firearm.

Which is a more sure way to CTB? I definitely don't want to survive an attempt. That is my biggest fear.

(I wish I could do the train method but there are too many risks in that. Especially the technology of the wheel guard that trains have these days, and being sent flying because of the force of the train.)

I don't want to do any type of drug. Don't believe in it.

I think jumping is the surest bet.

Too much can go wrong with a firearm. However, I will leave that up to the experts. I made a firearm-related thread the other day, but only a few people responded.

Depends on the height of the jump, the surface of the landing, what body part hits the surface first, etc. With a firearm it also varies on what kind of ammo, angle, and type of gun.

I thought about jumping but I would be subjecting the public to my mess because the only suitable hieghts to jump from around me are inaccessible or highly trafficked.I choose firearm because I can do it quickly in a secluded/well hidden spot.The first responders will still have to deal with my mess after they receive my message.But I figure the hell with it.Their used to it and its their job.They knew what they were signing up for.

Jumping is one of the methods I'm strongly considering. I'm in the UK so firearms aren't really available here. If I was in America I'd probably blow my head off with a shotgun, but that's just me.

Personally, given you have access to a 12 gauge + slug, I would choose the gun. Anything less, I'd go with a tall building. A slug aimed 30 degrees upwards from the line parallel to the roof of your mouth, placed ON the roof of your mouth will 99% blow the most vital part(s) of your brain out, while a tall building, even IF it kills you, will likely leave you alive for a good while after you hit the ground. Also, it hurts to fall down from a tall building because the air pressure will dislocate your joints and cut your flesh. You should read up on both methods by yourself as others have said, but I personally advice you to go with the gun method as it has a much higher success rate, hurts less, is more accessible, etc.

i would choose jumping out of the two because anyone can succeed in doing that. the higher the point you jump from, the more likely you'll die. but not everyone knows how to shoot a gun in the right place to guarantee immediate death. i know i wouldn't know what to do.

I'd go with the 12 gauge with a slug, it's more reliable and you have more control over you death that way. Jumping would be more variable due to how you land, how high the jump is, and the surface below (water or solid).

I have a shotgun, but I still chose to jump.

However I wouldn't jump unless it 2,000 feet. You want to hit terminal velocity, and going at 200 km/hr.

I prefer jump because I want my injury to spread out all over my body, broke all my bones and the sharp bones will cut your heart vessels, or cut other organs in your body. Or the impact of the landing will tear your organs lose. Better off if you hit your head on one of those jagged edge rocks, it cut your head open and you die from head injury, it will knock you out regardless as long as your head hit any hard surface.

Find a bridge like this OP. and jump. You won't survived, not if it thousands feet above. Hit your head on any of those hard rocks and it all over. Even the slightest head knock (ever watch boxing?) will give you concussion, let alone you hit on your head one of those rocks, it will split your head, and you be dead.

This is ideal, you want a hard surface like this. Me, I would go to the middle of this bridge and jump, it be over so quick, BAM, and done. Let gravity do it work once you plunge.

So I'll be jumping off a hotel probably just 20 floors

I'm going to hit asphalt or whatever other type of material is on the roof (not sure what the material is but it's not cement).

Is this material not being cement (most likely it being asphalt) going to mess up my chances of dying on impact?

I'm reading that cement is 50 times stronger than asphalt, so now I'm really worried if what I'm hitting will be enough

So I will be jumping about 20 floors off a hotel balcony, I will hit asphalt, and I have no idea what part of the body I will hit. Might land on feet or legs.

Can you please advise whether this is not enough? I definitely don't want a failed attempt =(

I didn't realize. I had read somewhere on here from someone that seemed reliable that the pressure at some point would start harming you. Guess not then, but even so, it looks like the gun method outweighs the height method in terms of logistics.

So I'm going to land on a rooftop that might be asphalt, not sure it's some type of roofing material from about 20 floors. Will the landing mess up me cbt?
