That Vesna Vulovic case when the aircraft exploded and break apart, she was tied to a cabin, the aircraft cabin break apart with her wrap in it and fall, so she got some protection from that (the aircraft cabin). And she landed on snow and roll on the snow. Sure is a huge difference between snow and concrete.
Anyways, OP, the bridge in New Mexico has a 656 feet clearance below, there 121 people jumped off that bridge suicide, and NONE survive.

I'm going to jump. Not nearly as high, but hopefully high enough. I have always been scared of failure, but at some point I snapped. I just do not care at all anymore. If I die, I die. If I live, I live. Worst case scenario is living but paralyzed. But at least I will know I tried. There is nothing for me but going forward with a suicide attempt. That is my only future.

How many stories is that? Are you jumping from a building. My grandfathers friend jumped from the 15th floor.

It will be a brave, very brave thing to do. I know I could not, scared shit o heights. Probably that is why I admire people who jump, not just to ctb.
I have been watching your posts for the past few days and live in the area of the bridge you are considering jumping from. I won't mention the name of the bridge but it is very well known as one of the top suicide locations in the country. That being said, if you decide to jump, you will not have long to do it if you try to during the day. Everyone that lives in the area knows about it and the likelihood of intervention is very high. The people here are not the kind that just watch things happen and will attempt to stop you. You have already been in the area long enough that you know what kind of people are here.
Most suicides occur at night. If you run out on that bridge, you better be committed because if someone stops you, you will end up in a psych ward. The people here are very protective of the area and most suicides on the bridge and in the canyon are not reported. The suicide numbers are extremely high and people from all over come to the bridge and park to die. Nobody has ever survived a jump from that bridge. The terrain under it is very steep and rocky. One guy ended up off the bridge in 1998 and his body was not found until 2016. That is how rough the terrain is. It is equivalent to jumping off a 90 story building. If you do it, there is no survival and no risk of being gimped.

It is a bridge going over a canyon. Some geologists estimate the river has been cutting it for up to 320 million years. It is said to be one of the oldest rivers in the world. The river is very swift flowing and full of rapids and falls as well. Not that it matters because even hitting water from that height is fatal.

I think I found it using Google. But the bridge seems to be over a river. Is there a way to not fall in the water but to fall on jagged rocks to have a higher probability of dying? I would use this method only if i can't get my Carbon monoxide, or H2S method ready and perfected in time. I'm in a race against time. My life is horrible now but will get much worse if i don't act very soon. One of the things I have found is that time goes by much faster than you realize which is why if you don't take action quickly on a new idea you won't get anything done.
Well it all depends. I am from Ireland and just today a girl committed suicide by jumping from a third story balcony inside a shopping centre in Dublin. I'm sure the story will be on google somewhere. So, honestly it seems to be the luck of how you land. And whether its truly your time of course.
Even if you fall in the water, it is game over. River is very shallow. Most jumpers are not fished from the water anyway, they are recovered from the rocks.
There is also railroad tracks and a road under the the bridge.

I believe this bridge you cannot walk foot on, no pedestrian. As people jump there drive their car there and jump. Your post posted 876 feet bridge give the location away easily when look up in Google.

But on the bright side, this bridge railing is low, very easy to jump. Just drive there late in the evening and if you determine to jump, I doubt anyone can stop you once you climb on the edge of the bridge. Most people (including security) won't come near you due to they afraid you might actually jump or they might accidently fall down there with you while try to stop you. So get on the edge of the bridge and it only take one second the free fall down.

It should also be noted you could die from your head falling 3+ feet. This is if you hit the ground in the right way.

The trees cover how rocky the ground is there. The river is also shallow and rocky immediately under the bridge. There was once a woman that stopped her car and got out to jump. One of the rangers happened to be two cars behind her and noticed what was going on and tased her before she was able to get over the railing.
It is not a pedestrian bridge and anybody walking across it is going to be looked at suspiciously. Suicides are common there and everyone in the area is very aware of it.

Well true, I agreed with blackflag, if you still on the bridge, like not on the rail yet, people will pull you back.
But once you actually has your leg on the rail, even dangling, I doubt anyone can stop you. It just take like two seconds for you to get on the next step and throw yourself down. When people see someone dangling on the bridge about to fall, chances are they won't risk their life to go there risk the chance of them accidentally fall down there with you.

People do stop on the bridge all the time to take pictures of the canyon. The view from up on the bridge is amazing. Camera in hand and you won't look out of place.
The area is a high tourism area. Bridge day will be coming up on the 19th of this month. The bridge will be closed for vehicle traffic for the day with everybody allowed on the bridge by foot. There will be people base jumping on this day.

Base jumpers jump with a parachute. If you go off this bridge without a parachute, you will be alive only for only 8 seconds before hitting bottom of the canyon. So many people kill themselves on this bridge that they actually know the fall time without a parachute. One of the best known spots in the country now. Look up bridge name and suicide on Google and you will learn. Not so secret anymore because the jump rate has been so high over the last several years. At night, you won't see how far you are falling and most people jump then.
There is no survival on this bridge, you go off without a parachute, you die. It is that simple.

Since people have been intelligent enough to know the bridge being talked about, I am going to provide links to numerous articles about see suicides on the bridge. Keep in most suicides are never reported but it is now so frequent that it is no longer. This bridge is now a suicide magnet and nothing can change that now. It works too good at the job with a survival rate of zero percent. Most deaths are out of state people. Usually no family to talk to and all you can do is send them to the morgue.
