I just wanna shout out to all those jumpers past presence and future. Having stood at the top myself and it's takes raw pure guts courage and bravery. Hats off to you lads and ladettes.

I often wonder what falling feel a likes. What those people might be thinking.

Also a shout out to all SS members who have stopped along the way. Rip my soon to be friends.

I often think about how falling feel like. I'd like to try it but im afraid of surviving and just vibing on floor with broken bones and waiting for ambulance. that would be so embarassing, i can't do this.
Also I am impressed by bravery of these people.

I think if I'm in that situation I will just run without thinking too much to the end like jumping to a swimming pool but I'm scared of killing someone in the process or... "stay vibing on floor" like harkovv said

Maybe Im just soft, but its horrible
Felt like being in a giant elevator that has snapped and is rapidly falling to the bottom. Dizzying, nauseating, terrifiying. Panic, panic, panic. Flailing my hands like Im trying to be a bird or something.
It was scary as fuck
And it wasnt even a jump from a great height. So dont know how I will handle the big deal.
(The most interesting thing is that this was not associated with height - I desentisized myself so much I couldt give a damn about height. Its just about survival instinct kicking in).

Also, thanks for the shoutout. Yo

I've considered posing as a skydiver and not pulling the cord, but I think the survival instinct might kick in and you pull the cord late and end up crippled or something.

So even if accustomed to jumping heights and skydiving there is still panic. Is it the worst panic ever?

Not the worst panic (I had panic attacks so bad I was almost convulsing and couldnt breathe) - but very, very unpleasant

I would practice on the highest diving board for a few weeks and get my swan dive technique down to a T. I live on the 18th floor with balcony so think about jumping on a daily basis. Also don't think I would have the courage to go though with it though. I have heard if you land ribcage first you will bounce somewhat, absorb the shock and save your internal organs from fatal damage.

I'm terrified of heights, but I'm even more afraid of falling from them. I hate that feeling it gives me in the pit of my stomach. I can barely play video games watching a character jump down off things from up above, looking down. lol
