Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm gonna give life one last chance: one more application to my dream job. If I get an offer, everything else I want might finally be within reach. If that doesn't work out, and it probably won't, I'm gonna CTB on my birthday in June. The day happens to land on a monthly event I go to with some of my closest friends. It'll be the perfect chance to make my last day a happy one. I'm excited because one way or another my losing streak is gonna end this year!

Honestly, if something like getting a job you love would make you want to stay, I think you should reconsider your plan. Jobs can come and go and your interests can change.

Your birthday plan makes it clear that you have close friends and people that love you.

Loosing streaks happen but so do winning streaks.

I'm not trying to judge or anything. It just sounds like you have good reasons to stick around and people to stay for.

Best of luck.

Good luck on the job application Failure, I hope it all goes well for you either way. If I may ask, what's your dream job? I think you can do it, I'm rooting for you.

Please reconsider
Something like a dream job shouldn't affect whether or not you live. You clearly have good close friends you enjoy being with, and you can always apply to your dream job again, and maybe even get an offer. It is your decision, but I would take it into heavy reconsideration. Don't pick death unless you truly believe it is the best option. Whatever you pick though, I hope it goes well for you, best wishes

I've wanted to be a firefighter for over a decade, but I'm not good enough and apparently never will be. I went to college for fire safety and got my emt-b. I've applied to so many places over the years and their answer is always the same. I'm not wanted and I don't want to waste my life chasing something I'm never gonna get.

Sorry I'm logical. Why are you waiting for some arbitrary date?
The hiring process ends in May. June gives me plenty of time to know whether I made it or not. If not, that event gives me the chance to see my friends and say goodbye.

I care about my friends a lot, but they don't need me. I'm the least valuable member of the group. They'd be sad for me to go, but I'd hope they'd understand my reasoning and move on. They all have real lives and it doesn't seem like I ever will.
