Spending it all alone I want to just take a lot of Benzos and sleep all day. I am in a state far away from home 1,500 miles and my support system and I feel so broken just like I want to disappear forever. I don't have friends or resources here to go out and blow out candles on a cake or anything I just feel alone from the world and that's how and where my family wants me I am only a burden to them. Thank you I am trying my best on how to get through this day this is the hardest birthday I have ever encountered all my other ones I spent with my mom who always made sure I had a good day. But she had me blocked not allowed to contact her for 4 months and I am isolated in a different area of the country without my friends to celebrate with. Any tools you guys have to get through birthdays like this?

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Unfortunately, I've never really done much on my birthdays. Usually spend them alone drinking/getting high. And when I stopped that it was more about finding & using support groups (online or irl). Maybe, if you're up for it, you can find some sort of support group in your area? Or you can always continue to post here or PM with me other members.

Sorry about the friends and family situation. Normally isn't fun to be alone on your birthday. While I never had no contact with family when I was just alone I normally just ate food I liked and kept myself distracted until bed.
