Method Isopropyl alcohol 99%

I feel like I'm missing something. And I saw several red flags that say NO but I'm curious if maybe there's a way.

Firstly, it has a half-life of 2.5-8hrs and the symptoms seem less then pleasant. Symptoms of isopropyl alcohol poisoning include flushing, headache, dizziness, CNS depression, nausea, vomiting, anesthesia, hypothermia, low blood pressure, shock, respiratory depression, and coma.

It would take prep work and most likely medications to help but..... Possible??? I did also read that it reacts with other things. I wonder if there would be something to make it more deadly or maybe turn it into a gas you breath and die like CO.

(my favorite part: Overdoses may cause a fruity odor on the breath as a result of its metabolism to acetone)

I'm not sure how much you'd need of it alone though. I'm not home so my research consists of me looking at what I use to clean my pipe go "I wonder" then read the wiki. I plan on doing more research when I get home though.

What I do know is (where I live anyway; canada) it's really easy to get and I can buy it without much anxiety about being "caught".

Doesnt this contain methanol? don't quote me on that but afaik this is dangerous af for your eyes. You don't wanna end up surviving and losing vision.

Maybe? The bottle doesn't seem to know what an ingredients list is. But even so I'd be hopeful some of the symptoms would cause the death like say coma and hypothermia. Of course also why I said meds would most likely be needed. The less repercussions of survival the better but honestly.... Very few methods have that possibility and I can't seem to get over then anxiety of buying SN. Basically I'm just looking at options.

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking. Can you drink enough and die? Of course. You can also say the same about drain cleaner or water, though neither are particularly practical or pleasant.

it was just a generalized "will this work/can i make it work" thought. im not sure whats been going on in my head lately, i just let it think and do whatever

also i did say at the beginning i saw red flags. i actually put a lot of thought into my methods. this one however was more of a whim lol

Plus, swallowing ISP burns your throat and stomach on contact, so there's that to contend with.

drink chloraseptic spray first to numb your throat?
antiemetics would be needed with or without this step, dont have to though but much like SN probably should

I don't think an OTC is gonna do anything for chemical burns to mucous membranes, but open to being wrong provided someone else wants to find out if I'm right ;)

If you read it's toxic then it doesn't mean that it can kill u you or peacefully kill you. It can take days.

i never said anything about it being peaceful. just making it possible

It looks like it's possible, especially if you're not found, but I wouldn't say it's a reliable method at all. It'd also be extremely uncomfortable, so even if it did work, you'd likely spend your final moments in agony from chemical burns and vomiting.

thats kind of why i was wondering if there was a way to make it work. kind of like the different meds you can take with SN to help the process
