I'm just tired and getting impatient, and with the scammer on my tail,I just want to get it done asap.I don't want to live to 2019.
it takes too much time to prepare the CO and exit bag,and I'm not sure about the purity of my SN.
I'll try hanging the next week,I'm a little scared of full hanging, but I'll push myself if partial fails.it's my original plan anyway.I bought the rope a while ago.
Plz give me advice about the rope,it's rigid but very sturdy.Do you think it's good for hanging?is it too thin?I'll pad it with some cloth. My weight is around 110 pounds if it matters.
Thank you all. IMG 20181201 085939 Medium

Yes i am sure its good enough. Not thin at all. Make sure to add padding though. If it fails it may leave harsh marks which can hard to cover up. So the main priority for safety is to pad it and make sure the object you are hanging from is strong enough to hold you. Also something i would advice is to put some pillows on the floor around if you are going to do full suspension.. If the rope snaped or it came loose and maybe you fell then it will be a little more safe i guess. Your weight is good enough. I am around the same weight as you and well i was told by another member that i should some weights to add more pressure. Not sure how thst would work.

I think, the rope looks solid. And also i think this material can slide easy. It is good, because the knot must be easy to tighten. Easy tightened = stronger press = faster and more merciful death. You can use also soap, or some lubricants. Some webs recommend the loop through a metal ring, for easy tightening.

Thanks,I don't know about the metal ring, sounds like it could fixate the rope,so it wouldn't move around bc it's slippery?I'll see if I can find one.

I might need some courage for full hanging,I wonder if alcohol and benzo a good idea.Do you have any suggestion?
Hanging is a hard way to go out. When I tried hanging while drink that didn't even help. I wish I could give better advice on this.

For 110lbs it looks like it would probably do the job for full suspension. It does look like it would stretch a lot though. If you don't start with a lot of ground clearance, you may end up with your feet on the ground from the stretch, If your passed out when this happens I don't think it'll matter but if your still conscious you may take enough weight off the noose to prevent passing out.

Thanks,I will keep that in mind.I'm thinking about standing on a stool and kicking it off. I will use a tall stool.

Actually, thinking about this again if your feet or toes ended up on the ground, you could end with partially closed carotids. The chances of getting out of a full suspension that ended up like this would be difficult I assume and you'd be left with no escape from the insane pain of having only closed off your jugular and not the carotids. It would be a very painful ending.

I realize, i'm saying scary unpleasant shit here, that won't likely happen lol shit. Test the rope out first like a swing (ass in noose) to see how much it stretches first, so you can approximate how much clearance your need to keep your feet off the ground.

I think I saw somewhere that he was taking a voluntary departure, to get his affairs in order and settle himself. Not 100% sure though; I can't seem to find that thread now.

Looks sturdy from the pic and pretty sure it would hold your weight. Looks similar to the rope I have and it's thicker. Mine is nylon and holds 200lbs (said on the package). You can test it by tying it then holding yourself up by your hands.

That's why I'm a scared of full hanging,I just wish partial could work so I don't have to do the full.
Thank you for your help again, you are such a nice person.I really appreciate it.There're so many kind souls here.

If the rope coming through metal ring, the loop can be more easy tightened. The modern gallows uses this knot usually, it is supposed to be more merciful than the classic hangman knot. P1380220

The metal piece is called a "thimble" and is available in hardware stores. Thimbles are available in many different sizes. Take your rope with you to get a thimble that fits the rope: the rope should fit snugly into the groove around the outside of the ring.

The knot in that photo is a "double overhand knot". Here's how to tie it: The way they tie it in the video, ignore the carabiner and tie the knot so that it forms a simple loop, then insert the thimble into the loop and the knot should slide into place like a slip knot.

Take time to enjoy the irony that in the YouTube video they're calling it a "strangled double overhand knot" and are using it as a safety knot.

You must buy the material in a hobbymarket. And the making isn't difficult. A improvisation is possible, many ways exist. 51265 Ring rope 12mmx100mm 1 500x500 Ropeswing ringandrope

The yellow rope in my older post is my own. I made this noose for my CTB. I think my rope is like the your rope. And i am very heavy and when i tested it, it was OK.

I bought mine ready made from an online rope store. I had the option to customise a regular rope and add this thimble feature. So it arrived ready made.

My set up is just like yours. Can i ask how thick your rope is? I bought 10mm rope but it actually measures more like 12mm. And will you use some kind of stopper above the noose like this?
View attachment 81948
I think this prevents the noose from loosening when the muscle convulsions start?
Hey dear, you're replying to a post from 2028, I don't think these people are around anymore.

Nope. Just a normal noose knot with the loose end tied with a stopper knot. Also I'll probably duct tape my face. I mean my nose and mouth.

how do you test if the rope can hold your weight? just trying to hang from it with your hands? (supposing you are strong enough to carry your weight)
