Discussion Is there any way to prevent loved ones from finding out about your death?

After my death, I'm totally fine with the cops doing their thing and establishing a cause (a.k.a suicide). But I don't want that information to be divulged to my parents because I'd rather have my parents believe I died due to natural causes like cardiac arrest in my sleep or something along those lines. Is there any way I can prevent this? This will reduce atleast some of their suffering.

I live in Canada and my parents are in India fwiw

i thought of putting a suicide note on my body and specifying that. but the death certificate would say suicide because the state keeps track of what people die from...

I wish there was a way too, but unfortunately, unless you are able to make your death look like an accident then your cause of death will officially be ruled as a suicide. Your parents will find out. I feel terrible about leaving my parents and I honestly wish I could just get hit by a car or a plane or a meteor lol
